Cab
TCi cabs provide an exceptionally robust, quiet, and comfortable working environment designed to reduce operator fatigue throughout the day.
The parallel-action air-suspension seat is wide and ergonomic. Its fully adjustable backrest reclines and features angle adjustment, seat extension, and lumbar support, allowing every operator to achieve an optimal driving position.
Integrated heating and ventilation ensure excellent comfort, regardless of weather conditions. Ample, strategically placed storage compartments keep personal belongings and documents within easy reach while maintaining an organized workspace.

Engine

The engine of the 822E is a 6.7 liter TCi FPT N67, stage V, 6-cylinder. Powerful, quiet and reliable, the engine has been developed to provide adequate power, rapid response, low consumption and low running costs. The machine has a hot shutdown feature allowing the turbo compressor to cool sufficiently before engine shutdown, thereby increasing turbo life.
Levelling Corrector
The TCi 822 feller-buncher is available with a leveling system; in this configuration, it is designated the L822. This enables operation in very rugged terrain. The system utilizes two massive hydraulic cylinders and heavy-gauge steel components to provide a solution that is both simple and robust. Maximum leveling capability is 26° forward and 7° backward. Lateral leveling is ±22°.

Crane
Hydraulic connections, lines, and hoses are protected along the entire length of the TCi F27ER crane, which has an 8.2-meter reach. As with all TCi feller-bunchers, the cranes feature the ER (Energy Recovery) system, allowing the operator to extend and retract the crane horizontally—smoothly and quickly—using a single joystick. The ER system helps reduce fuel consumption and operator fatigue, thereby increasing productivity.

Transmission

The TCi 822 is available with two track undercarriage configurations—D6 (R6152) or D7 (R7150)—allowing the machine to be adapted to various operating conditions and workload demands encountered in the field.
The TCi X822, a version designed for the most demanding applications, is distinguished by its closed-loop hydrostatic transmission system. This architecture optimizes transmission efficiency and generates higher tractive effort, delivering superior performance in extremely challenging terrain or during operations requiring maximum pulling power.
